If this is the case, let me warn you that the ab roller is definitely a total waste of time and money. In my opinion, it’s just one idea that businessman put together in order to fatten their pockets. The reason why I know this is because I was scammed by a business that manufactures one of the most popular ab rollers on the market.
The ab roller that I bought was the same ab roller device that they sell at Walmart, and other department stores. But since I work very long days, I am not able to make it out to the stores before they close. So I decided to buy the ab roller online from a reputable website that I will not name now. I decided to purchase the ab roller because I was very unhappy with the fat around my tummy area. I’ve been losing pounds through my dieting, but haven’t been able to shed the fat in my stomach area.
So I ordered the ab roller and it arrived on my doorstep 2 weeks after placing the order. I immediately opened the box, and what I found really disturbed me. To make a long story short, the set up instructions were horrible, and the parts were incredibly cheap. After hours of figuring out how to set it up, I decided to give it a try. It worked well for a few seconds, but then felt very uncomfortable after awhile. For some odd reason, my neck and my back was killing me while doing the crunches on the ab roller. The head support, provided no real benefit or comfort to my neck at all. So I decided that it was mandatory for me to turn back in this ab roller device. When it comes to pain, I am very intolerant.
But I decided to check out other people’s experience with the ab roller before I concluded that this was a terrible fitness device. I went to major shopping portals online and discovered quite a bit of negative feedback about this item. Here’s two of them below.
The Ab Roller was a big disappointment for me. It was more difficult to assemble because of shoddily constructed parts. Then , once that project was done, I was unable to use it as the design is clearly for someone at least 4 or 5 inches taller than me. As a very petite(4′11″)woman my hands barely reached the top bar, making it impossible for me to get the leverage to use the machine properly. So beware shorties out there!

Received the ab roller and the box contained none of the hardware necessary for assembly. 5 days after emailing the company, they reply that they are unable to send the hardware and I must return it to them before they will send out a new box. Very frustrating- I must drive 20 miles to the nearest UPS store to return it.

So as you can see above, I wasn’t the only one that had problems with this piece of equipment.
I later tried to contact the company I bought the ab roller from in order to request a full refund. And can you believe that they refused to give me a refund at first?! After making numerous phone calls every day and threatening them with some bold claims, I finally got my money back.
I later used my money to purchase another ab workout machine. And let me tell you, that my problems with the ab roller was really a good thing because this new ab machine works quite well. It gives me all the neck and back support in the world. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and I am satisfied with the results I am getting.
So if you were going to invest in an ab roller, let me save you the heartache and trouble by advising you not to buy it. Instead, you should check out the ab machine that I am using. Of course, it is not a quick solution to firm flat abs. But it does indeed provide results if you use it consistently.
