meal-plansI am getting sick & tired of hearing people complain about how they’re not eating well and that they can’t adjust their diet or eating habits. Most people that know me understand that I terribly dislike when people automatically assume that they cannot do something beneficial for themselves, just because it takes some effort. In my opinion, that is equivalent to just being foolish, lazy, and not having a passionate drive to make your life better.

They utter comments like this:

“I’m trying to eat right, but it’s just so hard!”

Let me translate for you what they are really trying to say.

“I still eat like crap and whine about it, because I’m too lazy to work at losing weight.”

Enough with this ‘trying’ crap, okay? ‘Trying’ to eat right means you are NOT actually doing it. (Yes, Yoda was right all along!)

What saddens me the most is that most people will never reach their fitness goals because they don’t want to mentally mature and take responsibility for some of the bad choices they’ve made in their health. Some individuals already have a predetermined attitude for failure even before they begin their exercise routines or diet plans.

So, if this is you, you need grow the heck up, stop whining like a baby, and start doing what you already know is best for you.

Although, diet and nutrition are hard processes to implement into your life, never use its difficulty as an excuse to not even try doing it.

I’ve listed a few simple pointers you can immediately apply to get you eating right.

  • Cut back significantly on sugar.
  • Don’t drink your calories.
  • Stop eating processed garbage.
  • Eat lean proteins, healthy fats, lots of veggies, and plenty of fruit.
  • Eat fewer calories than you burn.
